Introducing our Déjeuner Spécial and Chef de Cuisine

The Urban Tea Merchant is pleased to announce our new Chef de Cuisine, Taura Mackenzie.  Chef Taura not only brings with her the spirit of creativity and entrepreneurism, she also has extensive high-end hotel and restaurant experience.  

Chef Taura's first two weeks at The Urban Tea Merchant were met with a lot of excitement as we introduced our first Déjeuner Spécial (lunch special).  She was not only able to serve our 400 guests with our Petit Afternoon Tea on a timely basis, but also was able to provide some pleasant new tastes of savouries and desserts. 

We now are offering Déjeuner Spécial at both our Park Royal and Alberni locations and we will let you know through our web-site what they are each week. 

Déjeuner Spécial for $14.00 (includes your choice of our Premium tea selection):

Shrimp Bisque 

with your choice of either

  Cobb Salad, Open-faced - Egg Salad Sandwich, Smoked Chicken Tian Sandwich, or Smoked Salmon Sandwich
